    Title: RN - Medical/Surgical (MS)

    Shift: 3 x 12s night shift
    Duration : 13 weeks (Possibility of extension)
    Radius rule : must live 100 miles away

    Required:
    DC State License

    • NIHSS, BLS & ACLS – Required

    • BSN - Highly desired

    • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required

    • Med/Surg Experience - Required: 2 Years

    • RN Experience - Required: 2 Years

    • Cerner experience required

    • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required

    • BSN - Highly desired

    "Fulfills the needs of the patients, families and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. * Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring and efficient manner. * Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age appropriate care. * Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients needs * Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients * Makes initial assessment, and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidence by appropriate documentation * Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidence by appropriate documentation * Completes admission assessment in time frame established, according to policy and procedures "
