- Ensure Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and brokering PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance is operational at all times
- Ensure load balancing configurations and PKI certificates are backed up in accordance with customer policies
- Alert load balancing and reverse proxy customers prior to PKI certificate expiration and assist with certificate renewals as necessary
- Create, manage, and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces
- Develop and implement technical solutions in collaboration with engineers and architects
- Provide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with troubleshooting service outages
- Experienced in administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise environment
- Knowledge of standards, concepts, and tools to be able to complete technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances.
- Technical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations.
- Extensive experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces.
- Experience working independently in support of customer requirements
- Experience interfacing with team members on requirements and solutions
- Candidate must, at a minimum, meet DoD IAT Level II certification requirements (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP)
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Masters degree with 6 years
- Education equivalency of Associate's with 10 years of related experience or High School Diploma with 12 years of related experience can be used in lieu of Bachelor's degree
- Due to the nature of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required.
- TS/SCI with Poly is required for position or a TS/SCI and willingness to get a Poly

Duties include updating to new technologies, tuning performance, and implementation of critical system patches
This infrastructure may include on-premises and cloud resources

Pay Range $87, $157,450.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary
