    Description
    *Job Overview:

    The RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST - RADIOLOGY DIAGNOSTIC performs technical imaging procedures and related activities in accordance with the department's standards for all patients, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

    The Radiologic Technologist also serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff.

    Additionally, they participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities and in the call schedule to meet the staffing needs of the department.

    Finally, the Radiologic Technologist may be required to travel to off-campus locations to perform radiographic or fluoroscopic procedures upon request.

    *Required qualifications:
    • Coursework/Training: Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
    • California Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
    • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • Has all the required license and certificates and has experience as a hospital-based radiologic technologist for at least a year.
