- The Vermont Department of Public Safety (DPS) aims to enhance statewide law enforcement data access by creating a new system to securely access law enforcement data from a record management system.
- DPS, in partnership with the Vermont Agency of Digital Services, is looking for AWS professional services to collaborate with the ADS Technical Lead and develop the Public Services Data Lake environment.
- Architect and implement the Department of Public Safety Data Lake in the AWS Environment.
- Store Data in AWS CJIS compliant environment.
- Collaborate with the IT Tech Lead to design and implement lake house technologies.
- Ensure security with Identity and Access Management roles and processes.
- Create secure IAM templates.
- Handle data ingestion for various sources including databases, applications, file shares, and streaming data sources.
- Ensure data storage compliance with AWS S3 CJIS and utilize Redshift Infrastructure for data processing.
- Implement Data Extract, Load and Transform process for loading and transforming data for reporting and analytics.
- Design data catalog solutions and build crawlers for schema in AWS Glue.
- Meet Professional Service Requirements including AWS Lake house Certification and expertise in AWS technologies such as IAM, Glue, Redshift, and Athena.
- Ensure CJIS certified data storage and location.
- AWS Lake house Certification
- Experience with AWS Lake House Technologies
- Proficiency in AWS IAM, Glue, Redshift, Athena, CJIS data storage and security.
