JOB SUMMARY:
The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for ensuring a clean environment for the facility specifically the resident rooms and ancillary departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cleans windows, doors, mirrors, vents, garbage cans and surfaces throughout the facility on a daily basis.
Vacuums hallways on a daily basisMops rooms daily as directed by supervisor and once weekly with approved disinfectant cleanerMaintains clean and organized housekeeping carts replenishing supplies when needed.
Empties trash and takes trash to the garbage room three times a day as neededReports maintenance repairs, problems or needs to their supervisorImmediately reports safety concerns to supervisor or designateContributes to facilities Continuous Quality Improvement InitiativesMaintains HIPAA privacy, security, and confidentiality standardsFollows facility established safety procedures by keeping areas free of hazardous conditionsAttends all meetings as requested by supervisor and AdministratorPerforms any other duties as requested by supervisorREQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or equivalentThis is an entry-level opportunity.
