    Description

    Construction Project Manager

    The chosen candidate will have the main responsibility for organizing, supervising, scheduling, and planning multiple commercial projects to optimize cost-effectiveness and motivate employees to finish each project on time and within the budget limit. They will offer technical expertise on site cost estimations, negotiate contracts, change orders, and define project objectives.

    Main Responsibilities & Duties

    • Supervise cost control, including overseeing the creation of contract documents, budgets, scheduling, contracting, and processing invoices.
    • Manage and supervise subcontractors' work; ensure work completion and timely, accurate deliveries.
    • Establish design criteria based on tenant needs, including general conditions, supplementary general conditions, project requirements, etc.
    • Understand the scope of work outlined in the initial pro forma budget and recommend any necessary revisions.
    • Review plan development and specifications for cost efficiency.
    • Coordinate Architect and Engineer designs, review their plans for sufficient quality details, and hold design review meetings.
    • Guarantee compliance with building codes.

    Requirements

    • Active driver's license is a must.
    • At least 5 years of experience in commercial project management. Preferably, experience in retail construction.
    • Experience with new ground-up construction projects.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong analytical thinking, good judgement, and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset.
    • Establish and nurture positive relationships with all involved parties.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    • Effective project management skills, focused on results, capable of managing various deadlines.
