- Collect, analyze, and accurately abstract data related to trauma patients using EPIC EMR and NTRACs Trauma Registry.
- Ensure compliance with state and national reporting requirements, including Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary information for trauma registry documentation.
- Perform regular audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity and completeness.
- Generate reports and analyze trends in trauma data to support quality improvement initiatives and clinical research.
- Stay current on trauma registry updates, coding guidelines, and best practices in trauma data management.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Certified Trauma Registrar (CTR) certification required.
- Minimum of two years of experience working as a Trauma Registrar in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR and NTRACs Trauma Registry software.
- Experience working in a remote position preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data abstraction and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with interdisciplinary teams.
