Job Title: Tax Intern

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tax Intern. As a member of our Financial Dimensions, Inc. department, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tax-related tasks and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process Tax Returns: Collect and organize data from clients, extract information from source documents, and input pertinent information onto federal and state tax forms using ProSeries software.
• Data Entry: Create spreadsheets in Excel to compile and reconcile client data.
• Tax Research: Research and apply tax codes based on federal and state requirements.
• Clients Communication: Contact clients for missing information and provide instruction on completing the filing process for federal and state returns.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Candidate or Graduate with Accounting Major.
• Skills: Ability to multi-task, desire to learn software programs, IRS and state tax return filing requirements, detail-oriented, good communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of accounting and tax software.
