Do you love unicorns and working with a team?The marketing coordinator's primary responsibility will be to design, prepare, and submit technical proposals with the oversight and leadership of a senior marketing strategist.
    Working in collaboration with the marketing strategist, they will adhere to the established proposal development process while leveraging the market sector knowledge to support growth.
    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESProposals Coordination
    • Marketing CoordinatorAct as the central point of contact on assigned proposals.
    Establish team deliverables schedule, arrange meetings, and oversee final proposal submission to the client.
    Coordinate with, and request needed items from internal staff, as needed.
    Coordinate with subconsultant firms to request required information and track receipt and compliance.
    Planning & Production
    • Marketing CoordinatorWith a marketing strategist or more senior staff person, attend the proposal kickoff meeting.
    Review client Requests for Proposals/Qualifications (RFP/Qs) and create needed items list and proposal details summary for technical team.
    Update resumes, project sheets, etc. as needed to reflect new information provided.

    Compile, write, edit, and format content for proposals in InDesign for compliance with RFP/Q, defined pursuit strategy, and firm brand standards.

    Monitor proposal content to ensure compliance to RFP/Q requirements, evaluation criteria, and technical requirements.
    Send drafts to the technical team and/or designated marketing member for review and comment.
    Post-Submittal
    • Marketing CoordinatorConfirm proposal submission with team.

    With a marketing strategist or more senior staff member, perform an internal debrief assessing successful and unsuccessful strategies and what can be improved.

    Oversee proposal closeout, including saving new data such as resumes, project sheets, etc. in central server files or in cloud wiki.
    PresentationsAssist in creating quals books, presentations, etc. as requested by staff and approved by the marketing director.
    Job RequirementsEducation/Experience
    • Marketing CoordinatorBA or BS in marketing, mass communications, journalism or related field is preferred.
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
    Experience working for AEC or professional services corporate marketing team is preferred.
    Qualifications/Skills
    • Marketing CoordinatorCandidate must have solid verbal and written communication skills, organizational and multi tasking skills, and the ability to effectively meet deadlines.

    Demonstrated experience in Adobe Creative Suite, with mastery of InDesign. Superior organizational, written, verbal and visual communication skills, with a focus on team success.
    Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while keeping track of projects with minimal supervision.
    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with different personality types.
    Works well under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines.
    Strong design skills, with an emphasis on layout design.
