This position has oversight for the Operational Database Team responsible for maintaining relational databases.

As a Database Operations Manager, you will lead your team to ensure database stability and integrity by securely and effectively monitoring, maintaining, and designing databases systems.

This position will also be responsible for creating and periodically reviewing disaster recovery plans, as well as overseeing the installation and testing of new software for impact on databases, upgrading of database servers as needed, and ensuring database backups are performed to prevent data loss as defined by Server Level Agreements.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Bachelor's degree in a computer science discipline or a comparable level of education and experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Database Operations Management.

Must reside in a state where Boyd Gaming Corporation Operates.

Must have a working knowledge of relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Must have good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
