    Description

    The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to residents during scheduled work periods in long-term care facilities.

    Job Summary


    • Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN)

    • Assists with basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs

    • Provides psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents

    • Aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures if needed
