    SUMMARYIn our Senior Tax Client Services Specialist role, you will be directly supporting Tax partners and other team members and acting as a liaison between the department and clients.

    You will provide excellent customer service to help key clients navigate the tax return process.
    You will also work with the Tax Administrative team to manage client tax documents and file tax returns.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESVerification of tax returns and tax-related documentsProvide administrative support to tax partners, managers, and staffStrong oral and written communication skills both internally and externallyAssist in meeting all deadlines by performing project and office administrative tasks, which includes file management, maintaining project deliverables and scanning working papersAssist in fostering an environment of superior customer service, collaboration, commitment, and team spiritAdhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentialityProcess and distribute engagement letters, individual and corporate tax returns, estimates, extensions and individual organizers via SafeSendReturns.

    Proactive with problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented and organizedAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyFollow through on tasks in a timely mannerAbility to cultivate strong professional relationships with clients and firm personnelAbility to work overtime if needed, including evenings and weekends during the tax department's peak deadline periodsProvide receptionist and general admin assistant back up relief as neededAdditional administrative tasks and special projects.

    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDAn Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred or two+ years of related experienceExperience providing administrative support in an accounting or other professional services environment highly preferredProficient in use of computers and become proficient with firm utilized softwareExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsSuperior organizational skills, strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills and commitment to deadlinesMust have a sense of urgency, self-motivated, and team oriented with a strong work ethicAbility to embrace changeIntermediate Word and Excel skillsProficiency in Adobe SuiteProficiency in Microsoft OutlookAbility to format documents and spreadsheets effectively and efficientlyOvertime required during the spring and fall busy seasons
