    Who will you be working with?

    As the Rail Yard Planning and Automation Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of rail yard operations.

    You will work closely across Digital Intelligence engineering, project, services, and commercial teams to define the product vision and roadmap.

    You will partner closely with product owners to define clear feature requirements and provide leadership to balance priorities across new features, defects, and technical debt.

    You will be responsible for evaluating the global yard operations market, driving growth and delivery for the Yard Planner/Yard Automation product portfolio.

    How will you make a difference?
    As a member of the Network Optimization group, you will be responsible for

    the strategy and management of our rail yard planning and automation product portfolio, driving innovation, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    What do we want to know about you?

    Bachelor's degree in computer science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math); MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

    A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management
    A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software industry
    Prior experience in Rail Operations (Yard is a major plus)
    Experience in Yard Operations, specifically hump and flats
    Knowledge of emerging technologies in rail operations
    Able to define and set commercialization strategy for tiered product and services offerings
    Strong oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
    Ability to understand the technology stack and its impact on the final product.
    Familiar with native Cloud products and technology
    Effective communication skills with senior leadership
    Proficiency in SCRUM project management and product development methodologies
    Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
    What will your typical day look like?
    Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with company goals and market demands.
    Responsible for product lifecycle management from concept, commercialization, go-to-market/launch, product adoption, modernization, and

    retirement/obsolescence.
    Conduct market research to identify trends, business case definition, competitive analysis, target customer identification, and growth forecast targets
    Guide and align with cross-functional teams consisting of engineering, user experience, project, architecture, and services to execute product strategies.
    Build strong relationships with customers, gather feedback, and use insights to improve product features and functionality.
    Define and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer and market feedback.
    Manage the product budget, including cost control and resource allocation.
    Partner with commercial in the identification of target customer leads and pipeline to close and deliver on commercial

    orders/convertibility

    targets.
    Communicate effectively within cross-functional teams, and with customers to ensure a clear understanding of business product direction and strategy.

    You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
