- Preparing the operating room by organizing surgical supplies, equipment, and instruments.
- Maintaining sterile conditions during procedures by properly handling instruments and supplies.
- Assisting with the turnover of operating rooms between cases by cleaning and preparing for subsequent surgeries.
- Setting up the procedure room for upcoming surgeries, ensuring all necessary equipment is ready, and reporting any supply shortages to your supervisor.
- Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program as per state and facility requirements.
- Certification in Surgical Technology.
- One year of experience in an operating room, preferably within an ambulatory surgery center.
