    POSITION SUMMARY:

    This position is responsible for managing timeliness of invoicing and record keeping; including approval of invoices coming from the field locations and ensuring proper billing practices for accurate A/R processing.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


    • Reviews and verifies Water Hauling and Traffic tickets for accuracy.
    • Enters ticket information into billing system to create electronic ticket.
    • Review and prepare daily spreadsheets to create A/R document for internal and external verification.
    • Coordinates with Billing Manager to create invoices for customers.
    • Reviews internal and external reports to identify errors and make necessary corrections.
    • Works with Billing Manager and customers to resolve billing disputes
    • Responsible for communicating with employees to ensure proper record keeping per customer requirements. Services multiple customers.
    Serve as Administrative Assistant when primary Administrator is unavailable due to PTO rotation schedule, etc.


    • Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
    • Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    This position currently has no direct supervisory responsibilities but has oversight of the accuracy and timeliness of invoicing.


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • Associate degree in finance, accounting or another related field preferred.
    • Three to five years' accounting experience.
    • Self-starter with creative problem-solving skills and excellent follow-through.
    • Ability to adapt to change quickly and to multitask.

    TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    Must possess basic level skills in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite software, including Excel, Word, email, and any other enterprise specific programs.


    EQUIPMENT USAGE:

    Must have the knowledge and experience necessary to operate office equipment such as desktop and/or laptop computers, copiers, scanners, fax, postage meter and telephone.


    LANGUAGE SKILLS:
    Must have ability to read and comprehend moderate level instruction, create short basic correspondence and emails. Must possess ability to present information one-on-one to customers, management and other employees of the organization.


    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
    Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages and decimals


    REASONING ABILITY:

    Must have the ability to analyze and solve problems and independently consider and evaluate a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

    Must have ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
