The Mechanical CAD Draftsman opportunity requires candidates to:

• Responsible for the drafting and modeling of piping for chilled water, steam, condensate and containment system layouts using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D or SolidWorks.
• Create and/or modify existing drawings and models
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, project managers, and production staff.
• Ensure drawings meet project/tender deadlines
• May be responsible for some material take-offs, ordering of materials and distribution of drawings to proper personnel.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Mechanical CAD Draftsman position:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• 2 years of college preferred or equivalent experience.
• Drafting: 1 year preferred
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks, or similar.
• Background in, mechanical contracting and knowledge of mechanical systems would be a plus.
• Candidates with some working experience are welcome
• Possess initiative and good interpersonal skills
• Must be a team player and be able to work independently on challenging projects that may have tight timelines

The starting pay rate for the Mechanical CAD Draftsman is $23-$24 per hour based on experience, plus overtime as needed.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
