    Job Summary:


    The Microsoft Dynamics Administrator is responsible for supporting the configuration and administration of all the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments in the Azure space.

    This role is also responsible for troubleshooting development and production configuration problems for the Dynamics 365 environments.
    Excellent communication skills are necessary to be successful in this role.

    This ideal candidate for this role has a solid business foundation with the ability to collaborate with other individuals who have varying levels of technical understanding.

    Essential Functions:
    Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, Models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Missions (visit

    Accountable for various ERP modules in Dynamics 365
    Supports and troubleshoots current Dynamics configurations and coding
    Assures the quality of the solution and related project deliverables
    Administers solutions by configuring the system according to requirements
    Maintains user confidence and protect operations by maintaining the integrity of information in a confidential manner
    Works closely with business units and external customers to establish the development systems design
    Provides best practices and solution alternatives within

    design documents
    Develops documentation, automation, and assistance tools in effort to support all users
    Works with Microsoft Lifecycle Services and the associated tools in support of D365 F&O and Supply Chain ERP project implementations
    Deploys new D365 instances in the Microsoft Azure cloud
    Upgrades the D365 environments to comply with Microsoft's patch, upgrade, and version release cycles

    D365 database management including backups, recovery, disaster recovery, moving databases (instances) to new environments or restoring the system to a specific point in time etc.

    Supports and delivers on common D365 implementation scenarios such as "Gold" environment configuration, instance promotions, instance tiering,

    debugging/diagnostics,

    general instance refresh, instance deployments to support development and testing etc
    Refreshes instance to create copies (Sandbox, DevTest, CRP, UAT etc) from either "Gold" or Production instances. Experience supporting PITR (Point in Time Restore) of Production instances to a sandbox environment is highly preferred
    Recommends, implements, and monitors security auditing and alerting solutions.
    Monitors cloud and on-premises resources to verify integrity, availability and streamline cost
    Collaborates with application development, network/security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration within the production environment, including validation planning, validation testing coordination, and reporting production readiness for deployment
    Establishes standards, tools, and processes to be used by the team and create procedures to guarantee adherence and compliance to those standards
    Ensures timely resolution of issues, responsible for communicating with all impacted parties the status and resolution of all issues
    Performs other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    Experience with standard software design practices and refactoring techniques
    Experience with full software development life cycle methodologies
    Ability to effectively diagram and clearly communicate software and technical concepts to all business units
    Adheres to IT standards & procedures (SDLC, ITIL, etc)
    Excellent written and oral communication
    General knowledge of network, PC operations system, network hardware, protocol, and standards


    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's Degree in Computing or related field
    4+ years' experience as a Dynamics administrator
    1+ years experience as a functional SME working with Microsoft Dynamics platforms AX/F&O, etc
    Working knowledge of programming methodologies, structures, and concepts
    Problem-solving and issue-resolution skills
    Experience with full life cycle Dynamics 365/AX implementations
    Excellent communication and prioritization skills with attention to detail and quality
    Organize and execute Analysis,

    Implementation & delivery phases of Dynamics 365 implementations


    Travel:
    Up to 10% with occasionally overnight stay
