    Description

    GENERAL PURPOSE


    Your role as a Corporate Fleet Logistics Manager is to analyze, organize and plan various elements of the daily operational need s of the Logistics Fleet, ensuring that all routes are delivered to the right location on time maximizing the cost, and making sure driversfollow all safety guidelines and DOT laws.

    You will work with the General/Operations/Logistics Managers of all locations by applying the analyzed projections of the organization'sstaffing, enhancing forecast accuracy, and improve workforce decision making.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Strategically plan and manage logistics transportation and any related customer services issues.
    • Plan routes and ensure accuracy and timely process are being met.
    • Resolve any arising problems or complaints, within the department or with the customers.
    • Follow up with all vehicles, registration renewals, insurance Cards, etc.
    • Keep an updated listing of all vehicle's current location.
    • Purchasing and control of all Sun pass devices. Conduct a monthly Audit and provide summary of usage to Accounting.
    • Order, keep and track fuel cards for locations according to Accounting's guidelines
    • Handling of insurance claims
    • Supervise, coach, and train all logistics department employees.
    • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
    • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
    • Ensure all drivers are complying with DOT-FL traffic laws, regulations, and requirements.
    • Perform administrator functions for various logistics management information systems including GPS, in-cab cameras, etc.
    • Maintains quality service by enforcing organization delivery standards.
    • Compiles data on employee productivity and utility usage to produce daily operational reports.
    • Supervises the scheduling of routes and ensures deliveries are completed in a timely and accurate manner
    • Assigns directs work and coaches' staff.
    • Responsible for Bins Inventory and Control to include controls of transit.
    • Responsible for Scale Inventory at all customer locations.
    • Responsible for documenting/addressing employee's unsatisfactory work performance and/or discipline issues as needed to correct unsatisfactory behavior within the company's established guidelines.
    • Responsible for all hiring and termination procedures, and performance evaluations for the department.
    • Responsible for gathering data and developing trend analyses and planning reports, with a focus on defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to align outcomes with strategic objectives. This role also involves using data-driven insights to make strategic decisions that enhance operational effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes.
    • Conduct monthly safety meetings for all logistics department employees.
    • Will always provide professional and courteous service to our customers and staff.
    • Will communicate with the sales team and General/Operations Managers of any customer or route concerns.
    • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS


    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field preferred.
    • Must have a valid Class A driver's license for at least 1 years, clean MVR & a current DOT medical card
    • Must have 3 or more year'srelated experience.
    • Ability to pass a criminal background check, a drug screen testing for pre-employment and random programs.
    • Able to accept alternative plant assignments, willing to travel and attend training seminars, if required
    • Knowledge of all DOT Regulations
    • Must have excellent customer service skills
    • Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
    • Commitment to working as a team member for the benefit of the organization
