    What does a Residential Program Director - Human Services do?

    As the Residential Program Director at Pathlight, you will be at the forefront of leading, managing, and developing our Residential Supports programs. Your role will involve overseeing budgets, negotiating contracts, and maintaining key relationships to ensure the highest quality of services. By working closely with the team, you'll help individuals with developmental disabilities thrive in their communities while upholding Pathlight's policies and external regulations. Your dedication to fostering individual and programmatic growth will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for those we serve.

    To excel as a Residential Program Director at Pathlight, you'll need a strong foundation in a professional discipline such as social sciences, human services, or business administration, typically equivalent to a Master's Degree. With 5 to 7 years of progressive learning experience, you should have a deep understanding of program development and management. Proficiency in various computer systems and applications is essential for streamlining operations and communication. A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are necessary for overseeing multiple program locations. Your ability to navigate complex challenges with empathy and integrity, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, will be key to success in this dynamic role.

    Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

    • Advanced knowledge of a professional discipline such as social sciences, human services, or business administration. Equivalent to a Masters Degree. Over 5 years and up to and including 7 years of progressive learning experience.
    • Working knowledge of computer systems programs and applications.
    • 18 years or older with High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver's license/acceptable driving record & reliable transportation
    • 2 professional references
    • Acceptable CORI
