Warehouse Processor - Weekend Shift Part-Time
Job Description:
Prepares and processes merchandise according to established procedures while meeting specific production, accuracy and safety standards. Maintains and verifies documentation to ensure the accurate and timely flow of merchandise through the Distribution Center (D.C.) The distribution center/Warehouse is located at 800 Patrol Road, Jeffersonville, IN
This position is on the Weekends with regular hours from 6am - 2:30pam. The regular work is weekly on Saturday and Sunday.
Primary Accountabilities/Job Responsibilities:

• Work under direct supervision and follow standard procedures and instructions to accomplish assigned tasks such as any combination of the following (depending on order volume)
• Able to be flexible with performing job assignments, as they pertain to the shift goals and objectives
• Picking merchandise listed on an order form and preparing order for shipment
• Provide outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Resolve routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to Supervisor or Manager
• Work cooperatively with Managers, Leads, and other Team members in order to complete tasks and support process improvements and cost reductions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, as assigned
• Ability to make accurate and efficient decisions as to the best way to process an order
• Must meet and maintain productivity and accuracy standards
• Able to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations
• Able to understand and communicate oral and written instruction
• Able to maintain positive, professional and constructive communication with team members and management
• Other general warehouse tasks as assigned

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

• Must pass Background Check
• Must be 16 yrs or older
• Possess at least one year of related work experience is preferred, but not required

• Mental activities include:
  • Basic mathematical calculations
  • Positive communication skills
  • Understand team objectives and service requirements within assigned work area by listening and asking appropriate questions to identify basic customer needs.
  • Seek clarification when assignment is unclear
• Physical activities include:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, reach for, and grasp merchandise as needed to perform essential functions
  • Regularly required to lift or carry up between 25-50 lbs
  • Continuous physical exertion required, such as walking, standing, bending, and stooping in addition to material handling
• Work Environment:
  • Base schedule of eight hours per shift, overtime will vary
  • Hours for work are consistent but not guaranteed due to fluctuation in workflow
  • Interior physical climate varies with some hot and cold extremes
  • Drug and alcohol free work environment
