Job DescriptionJob Description Salary:
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of project and/or client management experience overseeing multi-site development and specific experience in commercial development entitlements.
Day to day activities will include but are not limited to:
interfacing and establishing expectations with client; creating and actively managing project schedules; coordination of both internal team members and external resources; collaborating to establish scope of work and division of labor documents; contract and lease reviews; perform due diligence research; ability to present solutions to accomplish client's goals; project reporting; and other tasks that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate efforts with clients, consultants, utility companies and city officials.
Represent company and clients with professionalism and high degree of emotional intelligence
Manage and coordinate activities involving third party independent consultants.
Track construction phase, turnover and project close-out activities for applicable projects.
Work on site to potentially support multiple stakeholders responsible for operations projects.
Understand the flow of information between all project team members to help ensure that all performance targets are met.
Read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
Schedule and attend meetings, issuing agendas, meeting requests, reserving resources
Help grow existing client relationships and/or pursue new business development opportunities for the company
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Planning or associated design profession is preferred
Professional Certification is also preferred
Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings and commercial leases
Ability to communicate the appropriate design intent both graphically and in written form
Ability to prioritize and complete/delegate tasks neatly and accurately within a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Ability to effectively coordinate with internal design and permit team members
5+ years of design work experience required and 2+ years of project construction management experience
