Dignity Health St. Joseph's Medical Center is looking for an
Inpatient Psychiatrist to provide coverage at a 35 bed, freestanding Psychiatric Hospital. Physician will have the opportunity to train the next generation of Psychiatrists as a core faculty physician for St.

Joseph's Psychiatry Residency Program.

• Academic rank for this position will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and academic background through Touro University, California H1B Visa sponsorship available Medical Director role available for qualified physicians (additional earning potential)
  Education/Certifications/Licensure: MD or DO degree. Board Eligible or Certification in Psychiatry Unrestricted State of California Medical License (current or eligible) and DEA number

  Program currently has seven (7) residents per year and is growing to ten (10) residents per year in academic year
  Psychiatry is one of nine successful residency programs that have started at this facility in the last five years which include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, Urology, Neurology, Transitional Year, and Orthopaedic Surgery.
  Plans to start fellowships in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction MedicineThis is an opportunity to join a community-based practice affiliated with Dignity Health. In many cases, providers will join an existing single-specialty or multi-specialty medical group (solo options are occasionally available).
