Job Summary
The Dietary Aide is cross-trained to perform tray line and dishwashing functions.Tray line personnel are responsible for the set-up of the patient and staff tray line following posted or individual menus.
They are responsible for placing appropriate food and condiments on patient trays and also the cleanliness of the tray line area.
- Review and check diet order list obtained from the nurse's station, making the necessary changes in diets and notifying the cook as to the changes made.
