    Here's what you'll do:

    JOB SUMMARY:
    The

    Financial Services Program Manager

    will assist with Accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, billing, and accounting for all Residential Clients. Payroll processing for all Residential Caregivers.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsible for performing and delivering curriculum and learning material and overseeing all operations of Washington SAILS training program as reflected by the following duties and responsibilities:
    Residential Services Client Finances

    • Pay bills for residential clients including rent, utilities, phone, etc.
    Daily Reconciliation

    • Download bank transactions daily for all residential clients.
    Bank, EBT, and Petty Cash Reconciliations

    • Every month reconcile bank, EBT and petty cash accounts and organize all receipts for all residential clients.
    Shared Expenses

    • Pay back shared expenses for all residential clients at the end of every month.
    Quarterly Reports

    • Produce quarterly reports for all residential clients.
    Residential Allowance Requests

    • At the beginning of each month complete residential allowance requests for the previous month for clients that need extra financial assistance before they have their Section 8.
    Work closely with the case manager at DDA to coordinate these requests.
    Individual Financial Plans

    – Write Individual Financial Plans for all residential clients as well as a monthly budget for the year. Make sure the IFP is signed by the family and the manager of residential services.
    Rep Payee

    – If the family chooses to have SAILS Group - Washington be the Rep Payee fill out the Rep Payee paperwork and make an appointment with Social Security to get Rep Payee status. Set up a bank account for the client so that their social security check can be directly deposited into their account.
    QA -

    Visit client's homes and audit funds and client site money ledger. Report discrepancies in the homes and in general accounting immediately to the Financial Director, Residential Director, and Area Director.

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
    High School education (required)

    Computer processing skills, general accounting and bookkeeping training, record keeping practices and training, or related job experience of greater than three years in a similar position.

    High-pressure, fast-paced environment with significant telephone and personal disruption.

    To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit at a desk for four or more hours per day.
