    Job Summary

    The Senior Analyst, Business Process Analytics will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of business process analytics for demand management, production planning, procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and sales and distribution in SAP (PP/MM/WM/SD). This responsibility includes collaborating with other departments, identifying analysis requirements, and creating solutions to improve business processes across the organization. The position will partner with subject matter experts within the organization related to data and processes and develop functional expertise in these areas in order to deliver to the business needs. Expectation will be to develop and implement data analytics that enhance processes for procurement, production, warehousing, and sales and distribution transactions. The Senior Analyst proactively supports stakeholder requests, conducts system and data analysis, produces monthly and ad-hoc reports, and provides KPIs using SAP/BW tools.

    Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and partner with various departments on the creation of data analytics and business processes in support of the line-of-business. Activities directly influence the organizations achievement of targeted inventory and financial goals.
  • Support and guidance to line-of-business on data analysis and business processes impacting procurement, production, warehousing, and sales and distribution in collaboration with all areas of the organization.
  • Utilizes knowledge of data analytics tools and resources in order to provide strategic insights that aid in operational and financial goals.
  • Verifies accuracy of multiple sources of historical and forecasted data with regard to purchase orders, production orders, sales orders, and sales force information.
  • Develops, creates and trains on the use of organizational data reports as required.
  • Partners with line-of-business on projects and ad-hoc requests. Identified requirements, resources, and timeline for implementation.
  • Able to analyze and summarize complex data sources in order to provide recommendations to senior leadership on improvements to business processes with identified solutions.
  • Continues to learn and develop technical SAP, BW, and data analytics expertise.
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years of procurement, production, or sales and distribution experience preferred
  • 3+ years of SAP and BW data analytics experience required
  • Previous Power BI and programming (SQL) experience is preferred
  • Advanced Excel and reporting / dashboard creation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Able to explain complex problems in a clear, concise manner.
  • Business awareness and experience in a highly complex manufacturing organization
  • Ability to effectively operate in a matrix style organizational structure and interface with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills
