Job summary
The Member Service Associate delivers a unique and memorable Member experience aimed at improving Member financial wellbeing through processing account transactions such as deposits and withdrawals,
as well as opening closing and servicing accounts and consumer loans.
Responsibilities
- Processes basic and complex teller transactions including deposits withdrawals check orders statement printing stop payments wire requests
and loan payments in lobby drive up environments. - Opens maintains deposit accounts including savings checking certificates
and specialty accounts completes loan applications underwriting interview process for Members requesting consumer loans builds consumer loan packages with attention to detail to ensure they are error free implements corrections if assigned works with Member Specialists to ensure title work packages are correct for funding problem resolution owns Member issues through resolution troubleshoots resolves inquiries in a timely friendly accurate manner escalates Member feedback to Management makes Member call backs to support Net Promoter efforts treats Members Employees with professionalism courtesy respect empathy challenges keeps TDECU Mission Vision Purpose top of mind when dealing challenging situations achieves personal sales goals by cross selling platform products checking savings credit cards loans CDs Money Markets making partner referrals insurance investments mortgage builds maintains required knowledge TDECU products services order cross sell utilizes systems be informed about Members current relationship TDECU achieves required levels outbound calls educates members on emerging existing credit union technology digital solutions mobile online ATM offerings convenience troubleshoots basic issues escalates more complex issues needed actively participates community development activities assigned support Credit Unions Mission Vision Purpose Values completes mandatory compliance testing time implements processes required Bank Secrecy Act TDECU policies procedures.
