    Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

    This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD and is part of the TN 164th AW, Air National Guard.

    This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization. All SUPERVISORY positions are subject to a 1-year probationary period. Responsibilities As a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIAST, GS , you will exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

    Manage, direct, and execute wide spectrum of force support operations (Personnel, Base Education & Training, Family Readiness, Installation Personnel Readiness, and Base Services) for wing customers which requires the development of policies and procedures unique to each command in an environment of constantly changing priorities and missions.

    Conduct analysis to determine the effectiveness of operations, compliance with established policies and procedures, reliability of transactions and validity of supporting documentation.

    Implement the organization's self-inspection program; review formal inspection reports, audits, complaints, and other reports to ensure adverse findings are addressed/corrected within the allotted time frame.

    Participate in formal and informal management planning, policy and decision-making sessions. Perform other duties as assigned.

    GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
    Experience, knowledge or experience of an administrative nature, which involves the exercise of analytical ability, judgment, discretion, and personal responsibility, and application of a substantial body of knowledge of principles, concepts, and practices applicable to one or more fields of administration or management


    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
    Must have 36 months or 1 year at the next lower-level specialized experience, knowledge and skill of a wide range of plan, direct, and administer force support programs for wing military personnel and associate units, knowledge of the basic concepts, principles, and theories of military human resources management and the ability to adapt these to meet mission requirements of the state, experience, knowledge and skills with the Force Development, Commander's Support Staff, Sustainment Services Flight, Military Personnel Flight and Airman and Family Programs within the Force Support Squadron, programs associated with Base Services such as lodging, fitness, food service programs, recreational and special morale and welfare, experience in managing the function of the work to be performed, experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel
