    Our growing manufacturing client is seeking candidates for the position of

    CNC Machining Engineer.

    This role will be the process expert in the CNC machining department. This position will be involved in new projects, process flow improvement and assessment of production quality. This is an excellent growth opportunity for a Maintenance or Engineering Technician to move into Process Engineering. Typical work schedule is ~45 hours per week, M-F.


    Primary Duties:
    Select tooling, fixtures, and gauges to deliver quality machined parts from CNC mills and lathes

    Program, setup and operate CNC machines using modern CAD / CAM software and or shop floor programming at the CNC Machine control.

    Provide analysis, evaluation, and review of issues regarding methods and equipment, layout, and material flow.
    Plan and implement engineering projects including equipment, tooling and process improvements.
    Design and implement alternative solutions to manufacturing problems.
    Evaluate existing processes and standard operating procedures for continued improvements.
    Collaborate with development teams and customers during the design process of new equipment.
    Generate time studies, charts, and reports for business reviews.
    Evaluate and implement projects that reduce cost, increase value, and/or improves quality.
    Work with health and safety to design process safeguards and improve team member safety.
    Responsible for the management of documentation (SOPs, control plans, FMEAs, forms, check-sheets, inspection records, etc).
    Successfully deploys training processes, and follows up to ensure consistency across Production.
    Troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production and document history.


    Qualifications Required:
    Prefer Bachelor's degree in a Technical field but not required
    Minimum of 2 years of CNC experience with BS degree


    OR
    five years without degree
    Strong CNC programming skills
    Experience with Automation and Robotics is a plus
    Experience with time studies and statistical analysis
    Ability to work with cross-functional teams
    Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and writing skills are necessary


    Salary and Benefits:
    Salary Range - $80,000 - $95,000
