DirectViz Solutions is a high-level, strategic consulting services firm that meets mission needs for government clients. We are looking to hire a full-time Senior Systems Engineer. The work location will be primarily remote but must be willing to report onsite for occasional meetings.

Position Summary:

A highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer/DoDAF with experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions that meet DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) standards. The Senior Systems Engineer/DoDAF will work closely with internal stakeholders, such as project managers and developers, to ensure the ServiceNow program meets DoDAF standards and delivers value to the organization. The Senior Systems Engineer/DoDAF will also provide guidance and mentorship to other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ServiceNow solutions that meet DoDAF standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to identify and document requirements for ServiceNow solutions.
• Develop and maintain DoDAF-compliant architecture artifacts, including operational views, system views, and capability views.
• Conduct architecture analysis to identify areas of improvement and potential risks.
• Provide guidance and support to developers and other team members on DoDAF standards and best practices.
• Participate in the ServiceNow development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure ServiceNow solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve the ServiceNow program.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in ServiceNow and DoDAF
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering and ServiceNow development.
• Strong technical skills, including experience with ServiceNow development, DoDAF, and systems engineering principles.
• DoDAF certification required; additional ServiceNow certifications preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules, workflows, scripts, and interfaces
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on ServiceNow development and DoDAF compliance
• Experience with Agile and/or DevOps methodologies preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide guidance and mentorship to other team members.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a focus on achieving results.
