Cross, through its subsidiaries, designs, manufactures, and markets fine writing instruments throughout the world. As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a data-driven, dynamic, and results-driven Leader to spearhead our Global Amazon account. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, and having significant interaction with the Board of Directors, this position will serve as a key member of the Global Sales team.

Job Summary:

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various aspects of financial operations, including treasury management, financial analysis, pricing, costing, and reporting. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the preparation of financial reports, analysis of key performance indicators, and strategic decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

Treasury:

in the preparation of daily cash files, including forecasting cash receipts and disbursements to ensure optimal liquidity management.
with the Finance team to consolidate data for the weekly Treasury Working Capital Forecast (TWCF), incorporating sales, cash inflows, and disbursements.
weekly lender reporting in an Asset-Based Lending (ABL) environment to ensure compliance with financing agreements and optimize borrowing capacity.

Financial Analysis:

the Monthly Management Report with the support of the Senior Accounting Manager, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
Monthly Variance Analysis and communicate findings to functional leaders, identifying key drivers and areas for improvement.
in the preparation of Annual Budgets and Monthly Reforecasts, contributing to the development of accurate financial forecasts and targets.

Pricing and Costing:

standard costs and maintain global landed costing files to ensure accuracy and consistency in product pricing.
the global pricing function in collaboration with the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), analyzing market dynamics and competitive landscape to inform pricing strategies.
Monthly Gross Margin Analysis to evaluate profitability and identify opportunities for margin improvement.

Reporting:

closely with the Data Analytics and FP&A team to streamline reporting processes, including but not limited to bookings, backlog, open orders, inventory, and freight analysis.
and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks to provide timely and actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications:

degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA) preferred.
experience in treasury management, financial analysis, pricing, costing, or related roles.
proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
