Troy Design and Manufacturing is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company. At TDM, we use 21st Century manufacturing processes such as 3D design and printing, laser cutting, and automation for prototype and low volume manufacturing of components of current and future Ford vehicles. At our Chicago modification center facility, we do state of the art vehicle modifications for multiple police interceptor platforms.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn & Communicate Capability of the Aurora Dashboard to the Finance Team and Executive Operating Committee
• Develop understanding of Q-lik Sense tool and apply dashboard learnings to other application of Q-lik Sense tool
• Develop Excel model that will consolidate annual non-production purchases into a tool to predict 2025 CY expenses and identify expiring Purchase Orders
• Map indirect purchasing expense categories from SAP to an updated department structure
• Communicate Dashboard capability and revised budget spending model to the Executive Operating Committee at the end of the internship

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working towards a degree in accounting or finance
• Proficient in MS Office Suite—emphasizing Excel
• Available to work up to 40 hours per week
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail, organization skills and commitment to follow up
• Ability to work independently and in a group setting
