- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable and payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions
- Monitor cash flow, and banking relationships to optimize cash management
- Coordinate annual financial audits and tax filings, liaising with external auditors and tax advisors
- Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure business performance
- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, in the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
- Proficiency in ERP accounting software like Vista Point and excellent MS Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity
