    Description
    Our team is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer for Onsite at Pittsburgh, PA.

    This role will work with Leadership to develop, plan, and complete strategy that answers who, what, when where, why, and how much to ensure secure systems with long term maintainability.


    Education Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field.

    8570 Certification Requirements for IAM – Security+ preferred Experience Requirements:
    Over 8 years of job–related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job–related experience


    Clearance Requirements:
    Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. U.S. citizenship is required to meet international trade requirements.


    – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    NIST Risk Management Framework
    Risk Management Framework overlays Cyber Security trends
    Security designs and lessons learned integration within Assessment
    Corrective actions delegation using Executive Presence to motivate a vast audience
    Cyber systems engineering design
    Lead Security Groups and presence at skip level meeting to ensure leadership comprehension
    Experience with FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels, and cloud SRG and reference implementations
    Strong security and administration skills in Linux and Windows
    Familiarity with cloud native environments and tools such as containers and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Rancher)
    STIGs, ACAS / Nessus, HBSS / EPO, etc.
    Identity Management systems – Active Directory, LDAP/Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, etc.
    DNS, TLS, firewalls, NAT, intrusion detection, etc. Software–Defined Networks (SDN) a plus.
    Security standards such as CVE, CVSS, various NIST standards, FIPS 140 and 199, etc.
    Experience working in a modern software development environment (Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps)
    Good data analysis skills with, e.g., Word, Excel, Python, or other tools
    Experience with doc–as–code, markdown, ansible and test automation frameworks
