    Job Summary

    This is a full-time position at a community health center in Ventura, California. The ideal candidate is a Family Practice Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who values providing equitable care to all populations.

    Job Description

    About the Role

    We are seeking a versatile and collaborative provider who can provide continuing, comprehensive wellness, preventative, and medical care to families of all ages.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide medical care, prescribe treatment, and administer medication as needed
    • Maintain accurate patient records and update them in a timely manner
    • Order and interpret tests to diagnose patients' conditions
    • Collect and analyze patient information to inform treatment decisions
    • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
    • Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare providers
    • Advise patients on disease prevention and management
    • Refer patients to specialists when necessary

    Requirements

    • Graduation from an accredited NP/PA program
    • Current CA state medical license
    • Current DEA certificate
    • Board certification
    • Current CPR certification
