    As a *Buyer/Planner
    , you will be responsible for:


    • Reviewing demand plan in SAP to determine and clarify requirements, convert requisitions into purchase orders and transmit to suppliers.
    • Communicate frequently with suppliers to confirm and status orders, oversee/manage delivery schedules and navigate various internal and external processes to meet business objectives.
    • Bring value to your team, the business, our customers, and their patients as you use your proficiency in problem-solving to identify and resolve potential threats to supply; all to empower and maintain the production of medical devices (blood analysis).
    • Demonstrate ownership of assigned scope as you track material from the planning stage through delivery, receipt, inspection, installation into our product and finally invoice/payment.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve overall supplier, process, and business performance.

    Can demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving and exhibit a proficiency for learning processes and systems.
    Show strong interest in pursuing or developing a career in Supply Chain.
    Have a general understand of MRP / Material requirements planning.
    Can demonstrate solid PC skills (MS Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and work well with data.
    Are able to communicate effectively to peers and management.
    Can influence others the team and business to prioritize process improvements.

    Required skills to have for the success of this role:

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
    • Willing to travel up to 20%
