    Under the direction of the Administrator, SELPA/Special Education and assigned supervisor, serve as a member of a transdisciplinary team to identify needs and provide home and community intervention activities for eligible children with developmental delays or disabilities, birth to age three.

    Requirements / Qualifications

It is recommended that Letters of Reference be authored by professional affiliations and specific to the open position.

    Submit one (1) of the following as credential copy: 1.

    Valid California Education Specialist Credential in Early Childhood Special Education or Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential-Mild/Moderate Disabilities or Moderate/Severe Disabilities with appropriate added authorization in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) or eligibility to be granted a permit authorizing teaching special education students from birth to three years old.

    OR 2.

    Letter from your University Internship office stating eligibility or University Internship credential with Special Education authorization applicable to the posted position; OR 3.

    Bachelor's Degree in an academic subject area from an accredited University, meeting California Basic Education Skills requirement and a letter of intent uploaded in place of credential expressing interest in applying for this specific position, indicating the commitment to immediately enroll in a University credential program in the area of Special Education authorization applicable to the posted position.


    Salary Placement:

    The successful applicant will be placed on the appropriate salary schedule based on the range of the position being filled.

    The successful applicant will be placed on Step 1 unless given credit for prior verified related professional experience. Applicant shall provide all related professional experience on application materials to complete the years of experience verification.

    School sites are subject to change.

    • Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts will be required upon hire.)
    • CPR/First Aid Certification (Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency within one year of date of hire.)
    • Credential Copy (Refer to "Requirements for Applying" as listed above and attach applicable documents)
    • Letter of Introduction
    • Letter(s) of Reference (Required: Two (2) Letters of Reference. It is recommended that letters of references be authored by professional affiliations and specific to the open position)
