    The Process Engineer must have a well-developed business understanding, working knowledge of customer requirements and demonstrate a balance between analytical and creative thinking.

    Our client is a leading, technology-driven specialty minerals company that develops, produces, and markets a broad range of mineral and mineral-based products, related systems and services.

    Our client serves a wide range of consumer and industrial markets, including household and personal care, paper, foundry, steel, construction and environmental solutions around the world.

    The company reported global sales of $2.Recommends and implements cost and quality improvements.
    # Identifies process problems and deviations through continual evaluation of yield, quality, energy, and production data.
    # Develops and prepares engineering and operational estimates for capital improvements.
    # Prepares project scopes, schedules and coordinates work between in-house resources and various contractors.
    # Prepares equipment specifications.
    # Prepares cost analyses and technical reports.

    Incumbent must possess an undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline with at least three (3) years related experience in an industrial environment

    Must have a well-developed understanding of a Lean Manufacturing Environment including 5S, PDCA, Standard Work, Kaizen, TPM, and other Continuous Improvement methodologies.

    Must be able to develop an understanding of business financials and must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Must have integrity and effective communication skills as well as strong organizational and computer skills are required. Incumbent must have good technical skills and the ability to develop the plant processes.

    Incumbent must have demonstrated a willingness to challenge conventional ideas, to be a flexible, innovative & creative individual and one who can function effectively in a team format.
