Speech-Language Pathologist Vacancy

Caseload: Cross categorical Pull-Out, 7th and 8th grade students

To qualify for this position, applicants must

• Have their Speech license in Illinois
• Have an active Illinois PEL
• Have a masters degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program
• Clinical fellows or CCC-SLPs welcome
• Preferably, some experience in pediatrics or schools

Responsibilities

• Proficiency to identify, plan, implement, and evaluate SLP therapy treatment for school-aged children with cognitive communication disorders, speech and/or language impairments or delays
• Ability to treat speech, language and cognitive-communication disorders in school-aged children
• Facilitate goals and objectives per childs educational plan
• Counsel parents, students and teachers regarding speech and/or language disorders
• Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students
• Maintain appropriate records
• Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
• Perform other SLP duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and project a professional image at all times
• Adhere to productivity requirements, complete productivity reports and submit in a timely manner
