Here's the scoop - Summary
The E-Commerce Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing our brand presence online in partnership with internal brand and sales teams. This role supports the Director of Digital E-Commerce Marketing and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of product information, generating reports to support decision-making, developing and monitoring product content, uploading on-time and optimized new-product listings, and managing syndication to key retailers and Brand websites globally. This person thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a strong collaborator, and will inspire others with a passion for our Vision and Purpose: Champion Petfoods strives to be The Global Leader in Advancing Premium Foods for Pets, Earning Pet Lover Trust Every Day so Pets Thrive for a Lifetime.
This role is based in Boulder, CO and works a hybrid schedule between in office and working from a home-based office. Some travel is required, up to 25% within the USA or Canada.
What a typical day looks like:
• Drive the development of our Brands' online content across key retailers – written, PDP, enhanced content, display advertising, brand stores.
• Manage content syndication to key retailers and as well as regional Brand websites globally.
• Assess product accuracy through various site audits, ensuring content, pricing, imagery and placement are optimized for searchability.
• Manage the online content development process for innovation, driving to critical lead times and leading cross-functionally to ensure on-time, accurate, and optimized new product launches.
• Provide consistent updates and communication to line manager, internal sales and brand associates, and external agency and retail partners.
• Analyze content using retailer portals, sales reports and audits, leverage action-oriented and forward-thinking leadership to act upon further optimization strategies.
• Results-oriented continuously monitoring activity and seeking improvements upon KPIs ensuring timelines are adhered to and activity is delivered on pre-defined business objectives.
• Support the Digital and E-Commerce team on key initiatives to deliver against business goals and optimize digital touchpoints. This includes but is not limited to completing bi-annual competitive comparison analysis and content development, supporting the development of global toolkits, auditing and reporting on ratings and reviews, and developing reports and tools.
• Other duties, as assigned.
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience that indicates an established track record in E-Commerce Marketing and Content Management.
• Experience with Amazon, Chewy, Petco, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud an asset, not required.
• Strong organization, communication, and time management skills with strict attention to detail and strong follow-up capabilities.
• Thrives in a fast-paced culture. Demonstrated ability to perform under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, collaborative approach to achieving success.
• Results-oriented with demonstrated skills related to goal setting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Ability to analyze performance data, assess results, and craft educated recommendations.
• Solution-oriented with the ability to manage abstract and/or concrete variables.
• Advanced data and analytic skills with experience and knowledge in relevant software applications including but not limited to PIM, DAM, customer vendor management platforms.
