    Description
    Kent Place School is seeking a physical education and health & wellness educator to start in August 2024.

    Candidates should have prior experience working with preadolescent and adolescent girls, an enthusiastic, team-oriented approach, and expertise in health education.

    The physical education and health & wellness educator is responsible for teaching health and wellness literacy as well as physical activity and movement skills for grades 6-8, and may support classes in grades 9-12.

    In addition to helping students develop physical fitness and literacy skills, they may teach physiology, nutrition, and other health literacy related topics.

    Expectations for this position will include collaborating with colleagues, advising students in our middle school, and participating in community events.

    A Bachelor's degree in Health Education or related field required.

    A minimum of 3 years of experience in working with middle school and high school-aged girls, with some exposure to elementary school students, and a teaching certification are preferred.

    License to drive a student vehicle/bus (or willingness to be trained) a plus.
