    Title: Senior Java Application Developer

    Duration: 15+ Months

    Location: Austin, TX Hybrid- Required to work 2 days a week)

    Interview: Maybe a second interview in person at the client location (Austin, TX 78744)

    Primary Skills: Java Applications, JSF, Spring, Hibernate, Webservices, Tomcat and Oracle

    Summary:

    Worker will be responsible for coding and testing of Java applications using Spring and JSF frameworks, Hibernate, Java web services, Tomcat application server and Oracle database on a team of 2 to 4 members. This full stack worker may assist in converting applications developed in legacy frameworks to Spring. The worker will also assist the team on new project initiatives as well as maintenance of existing applications. Worker will work under the direction of project lead or work independently and may assist in architecting and designing, researching, and prototyping, load testing, code quality checking, application security and other technical needs as required. Please note that JSF and Spring experience is required for this position.

    Required Skills:

    • 7 Years of Required Hands on experience in development of applications using Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) Platform
    • 5 Years of Required Spring Framework
    • 5 Years of Required JSF
    • 4 Years of Required Unit and System testing of code
    • 4 Years of Required Java RESTful web services using JSON
    • 4 Years of Required JPA, Hibernate or equivalent
    • 4 Years of Required Oracle Database

    Preferred Skills:

    • 3 Years of Preferred AJAX, JBOSS, or Tomcat
    • 3 Years of Preferred Subversion, Eclipse
    • 2 Years of Preferred PowerBI Integration
    • 2 Years of Preferred Infrastructure in Cloud
    • 2 Years of Preferred Microservices architecture
    • 2 Years of Preferred Implementing Lambda function or equivalent
    • 2 Years of Preferred Maven
    • 2 Years of Preferred HTML 5, Any JavaScript Framework
    • 2 Years of Preferred Jersey or equivalent
    • 1 Year of Preferred ThymeLeaf or equivalent
    • 1 Year of Preferred Responsive Design and code to adapt to phones, tablets and other devices
    • 1 Year of Preferred Prototyping
