    WHAT YOU WILL YOU BE DOING:

    Project Management

    Conducting zoning research

    Developing relationships with City Staff

    Plan review

    Entitlement application - drafting and submittal

    Public outreach related to project entitlements actions

    Narrative and writing skills for Specific Plans, Community Plans and Master Planned Communities

    In addition to the core duties of a Land Planner, the Sr. Land Planner position will include expanded responsibilities and supervisory oversight.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

    Ability to work on multiple projects and provide clear communication with management and with clients.

    2+ years of experience with entitlements, land use, real estate development, or other planning and permitting activities.

    Possess a firm understanding of California Land Use and Zoning Laws, State Housing Laws, CEQA, and the Subdivision Map Act.

    Experience with and an understanding of land use regulations and discretionary review procedures of various jurisdictions throughout the Central Valley and Northern California.

    Ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and landscape architects to produce high-quality projects.

    Knowledge of engineering maps and records.

    Employment Type: Permanent / Full Time / Onsite

    Compensation:

    Land Planner: $75K - $100K

    Sr. Land Planner: $100K - $130K
