RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Provides nursing care to patients from birththrough the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan,implement, and evaluate the care for patients.

He/she functionswithin the framework of the policies and procedures of theorganization and demonstrates professional growth andaccountability.

The staff nurse is responsible for maintainingstandards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of allassigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a nursingprogram

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:


New Graduates of a nursing programeligible

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:


CurrentLicense in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLCMultistate License. BLS certification required.

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:


Advanced certification in fieldof specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred. NursingExperience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
