About the Internship
Are you looking for a unique internship experience in a prestigious and welcoming environment?
Join The Club at Las Campanas, one of the most exclusive private country clubs in the Southwest, and gain hands-on experience in hospitality, luxury service, event management, and club operations. This internship is designed to provide a resume-worthy foundation for a future career in hospitality, club management, or sports management.
Programs run May through August (13 weeks).
(Dates may vary depending on school schedules.)
What You'll Do
The Seasonal Intern rotates through multiple departments to learn day-to-day operations while assisting leadership with summer programming, activities, and special events.
Interns will work directly with and under the direction of department leaders, gaining experience in:
Food & Beverage (Primary Focus)
A la carte dining and fine dining service
Snack bars and casual outlets
Catering and banquet operations
Event setup, execution, and follow-up
POS systems, service protocols, and guest experience standards
Club Operations Rotations
Fitness Center operations (including tennis & pickleball programs)
Equestrian Center
Golf operations
Agronomy
Accounting & financial reporting
Professional Development
Attend leadership and committee meetings
Participate in training sessions and evaluations
Learn club culture, service model, and member engagement
Assist with communications and programming materials
What You'll Learn
By the end of the internship, you'll have real-world experience in:
High-level hospitality service and execution
Luxury member experience and relationship building
Catering and event planning workflows (including BEO meetings)
Club programming and seasonal operations
Basic accounting functions and financial reporting (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)
Multi-department collaboration and leadership exposure
Key Skills for Success

Qualifications
Working toward a degree in Hospitality Management, Sports Management, or a related field (preferred)
Interest in a career in hospitality, club management, or luxury service
CMAA Membership (preferred)
Valid driver's license
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Drug-free workplace employer
Required / Must Obtain
ServSafe Certification (preferred; may be required)
NM Alcohol Server Certificate (or obtained within 30 days of start date)
