    Description

    Spectrum Staffing Group is partnering with a full-service real estate acquisition company to hire a Maintenance Tech in Minneapolis, MN. This field role involves performing maintenance tasks for approximately 150 single-family homes.

    This is a Direct Hire opportunity paying up to $65K + $1K a month for your car allowance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform light HVAC, medium plumbing, light electrical repairs, and general handy work, including drywall repairs.
    • Repair or replace water heaters and garage doors.
    • Represent the company for rental license and housing authority inspections.
    • Communicate with tenants and the corporate office, primarily responding to maintenance coordinator requests.
    • Educate residents on maintenance topics and use CMMS like AppFolio to manage tasks.

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of experience in light HVAC, medium plumbing, and light electrical work.
    • Familiarity with Section 8 housing, rental licensing, and lead-based paint remediation preferred.
    • Reliable transportation, preferably a truck or van.
    • Background checks and drug screenings.
    • Experience with CMMS, particularly AppFolio.
    • Strong independent work and schedule management skills.
