    Job Title: Activity Assistant


    We are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as an Activity Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors by planning and facilitating engaging activities that promote well-being, relaxation, and joy.


    • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in long-term care. Other relevant experience is also welcomed.

    • A key responsibility of this role will be to work collaboratively with residents and their families to develop activity plans that cater to individual needs and interests. This involves assessing resident abilities, selecting suitable activities, planning events, and executing them in a safe and enjoyable manner.

    • You will also be responsible for preparing activity calendars and communication materials. Effective documentation of resident participation is essential for evaluating program effectiveness.
