- Lead and manage a Frauds Bureau focused on investigating and prosecuting a wide variety of complex financial crimes.
- Collaborate with Federal, State, and Local agencies to investigate crimes and proactively identify emerging scams.
- Utilize a full spectrum of investigative tools, including electronic and physical surveillance, undercover operations, informants and cooperating witnesses, financial document review, subpoenaing bank and financial institutions, and executing search warrants to recover ill-gotten funds and deter fraud.
- Investigate allegations such as investment scams, romance scams, insurance scams, employee embezzlements, financial crimes against the elderly, insurance crimes, trademark counterfeiting, and financial crimes against government revenue.
- Provide leadership to a team of attorneys, paralegals, detectives, and other staff; be accessible to senior leadership within the District Attorney's Office.
- Extensive experience investigating and trying complex and challenging cases.
- J.D. degree and active member of the New York State Bar in good standing; at least 15 years post-J.D. experience.
- Extensive experience in handling all aspects of criminal investigation and prosecution.
- White-collar and tax crimes experience.
- Electronic communications interception experience.
- Substantial felony jury trial experience.
- Prior experience managing attorneys and support staff; supervising on-call riding attorneys.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

This position requires the ability to manage a staff of senior assistants, including paralegals and detectives, and to be accessible to the District Attorney, Chief Assistant, and Executive of the Investigations Division.
Salary: 202,731.00.
