    Associate Attorney

    Foreman Friedman is a Miami-based, dynamic law firm known for its experienced lawyers who offer its clients creative solutions and a proven track record. The firm has a multi-state presence in Florida, Illinois and Washington representing a wide variety of clients ranging from the travel and tourism and insurance industries to mortgage lenders and shipping companies. Clients are both international and U.S.-based.

    About the Job

    Founded in 2005, Foreman Friedman is an AV-rated full service law firm with an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney to join our litigation practice in our Miami Office.

    Candidate MUST have at least 2-5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably (but not required) with some federal court practice experience.

    This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing, collaborative team. You will assist with all facets of its litigation practice, including depositions; strategy development; dispositive hearings; legal research and writing, alternative dispute resolution proceedings; and trials. You will have significant direct client interaction and extensive collaboration with firm attorneys and staff and delegation of tasks to support personnel.

    You will be motivated to accelerate your career growth by learning from partners who have a strong commitment to mentorship and by taking active, leadership roles in handling cases and the development and maintenance of client relationships. The partner track is real, and the work environment is genuinely collaborative.

    This is a full-time role for an Associate Attorney. you will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating on behalf of clients, and handling civil litigation matters.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • JD and Florida Bar member in good standing (additional bar admissions are appreciated)
    • 2-5 years of civil litigation experience
    • Attention to detail
    • Interest in a team-oriented business culture and able to work independently
    • Creativity and good judgment
    • Action-oriented leadership
    • Good and concise communication skills
    • Excellent research and writing skills
