**JOB TITLE:** Server

**LOCATION:** Eccentric Caf

**REPORTS TO:** FOH Manager

**FLSA POSITION TYPE:** Part-time, Hourly Non-Exempt****Bells Brewery offers GED Tuition Program at no cost to employees who are interested in obtaining degree****

**POSITION SUMMARY:** Serving patrons with a friendly attitude and knowledge of Bells products.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

Adheres to and advances the Safety Always culture of Bells Brewery.

Embraces how diversity and eccentricities make Bells a better company. Operates in a spirit of open and honest cooperation while valuing the inherent self-worth & dignity of every employee.

Follows Inspired Hospitality steps of service.

Opening setup / closing duties and light cleaning projects.

Maintains clean and organized work area / service station.

Attends pre-shift meetings.

Cleans and stocks glassware.

Ensures the responsible service of alcohol to customers and retains up-to-date TiPS certification

Cuts off individuals & communicates to proper channels.

Take food orders, expediting food, etc.

Full knowledge of menu offerings and preparation techniques.

Stock service area with supplies.

Answers the telephone and passes callers to the proper authority.

Accurately tendering money and giving change for purchases.

Beer knowledge: Accurately describe all beers on tap & bottles in cooler, compare & contrast beers & styles, know proper glassware and price points.

Full knowledge of all employee discounts, policies, procedures for sales reps & guests.

Must have a flexible schedule, nights and weekends are required

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Electric glass washer

Soaps and cleansers

POS system (Aloha)

Coffee and tea brewing equipment

Citrus Juicer

Ice Machine

Fountain Soda Dispenser

**IMPORTANT SKILLS AND ABILITIES:**

Ability to resolve customer complaints about beer and/or service.

An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards who will positively represent Bells Brewery both internally and externally

A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player

Responsibility and accountability

Strong interpersonal skills

Efficient money handling skills

Ability to prioritize and multi-task

Extensive beer knowledge

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:**

Open to applicants without HS Diploma or GED

**Bells Brewery offers GED Tuition Program at no cost to employees who are interested in obtaining degree**

Must be 21 years or older

Food and craft beer knowledge

Previous experience in a bar atmosphere checking and verify IDs

Full service dining room experience

Prior money handling experience

POS system experience (Aloha, etc)

TiPS/Tam certified, a plus

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
