    Description:

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
    *Under general direction of the WIC Director, work involves developing project procedures, work plan and activities; developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving project goals; submitting budget requests; and supporting program activities specific to the Healthy Texas Babies program

    EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
    *Coordinates Tyler Healthy Babies Coalition to include membership recruitment and orientation, meeting coordination, sustainability and strategic planning, coalition satisfaction, evaluation and general support for coalition activities.*Assist with media relations as it relates to the work plan and development of public service announcements and media campaigns in assigned community.*Monitors and projects costs to ensure project is completed within budget.*Conducts community outreach activities, meetings, and trainings focused on community health initiatives.*Compiles and distributes project information, project status reports, and project budget expenditures to Director and DSHS.*Coordinates project budgets, schedules, work plans, resources requirements, and cost estimates and projections.*Works with Project Coordinator and Consultant to develop and implement a program evaluation plan.*Prepare presentations regarding assigned program area for citizens, clients, staff, management, or elected officials.*Coordinate and support Tyler Healthy Texas Babies Coalition Chair.
    Performs related work as assigned.
